Update: Snowfall warning issued, 25 centimetres could fall

First snowfall could begin before midnight on Saturday, with up to 15 centimetres more called for on Sunday.

THUNDER BAY – A winter storm could make its way to Thunder Bay, starting as soon as Saturday night.

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the city, saying the winter weather is expected to start around midnight, bringing up to five centimetres of snow.

Then, on Sunday, between 10 and 20 centimetres could hit the city, with winds of up to 20 kilometres per hour.

There’s also a chance of snow on Monday.
