THUNDER BAY -- Don't let the warm weather fool you. Winter weather is far from over.
Environment Canada on Wednesday night issued a snowfall warning for Thunder Bay, saying up to 25 centimetres could fall between Thursday night and into Friday morning.
The total snowfall expected is 15 centimetres, with larger amounts possible in certain areas.
During peak snowfall, between two and four centimetres an hour could fall.
The snow is the result of an Alberta clipper projected to make its way across Northwestern Ontario, with the highest amounts in areas of higher terrain, especially near Thunder Bay.
The snow could make travel difficult, with highways, roads, walkways and parking lots difficult to navigate, according to the weather bureau.
