THUNDER BAY – Don’t forget to look up Sunday night, because it will be your last chance to catch a full lunar eclipse in this area until 2019.
This won’t be your typical lunar eclipse either. Not only will it be a total eclipse, but it will also be a harvest moon and super moon.
Dave Gallant of the Thunder Bay Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada said members will be with their telescopes for the public to use for free at Hillcrest Park from 8 p.m. until midnight.
