Vehicle catches fire on Frederica Street

THUNDER BAY -- An evening drive got a little too hot to handle for a city motorist.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews worked quickly to extinguish a vehicle fire near the intersection of Frederica Street and Brown Street.

It appeared nobody was hurt in the fire, but the vehicle sustained heavy damage to its interior.

Fire crews continue to investigate the incident, which took place around 7 p.m.
