THUNDER BAY — City police are investigating an incident Wednesday afternoon that saw a commercial van overturn on High Street at Lisgar Street, near Port Arthur Stadium.
"I just saw this vehicle. He just slowly flipped right over. That was it. He didn't hit anybody, or nobody hit him that I could see. I've never seen anything like that in my life," a witness said.
She told Dougall Media at the scene that two men exited the vehicle and indicated to her they were okay.
"They were just driving normally...like the wind picked them up and just threw them on their side."
The van's windshield was smashed in the collision. A second vehicle at the scene appeared to have sustained front-end damage.
Thunder Bay Police have not released any information about the incident as yet.
