Police have identified the local man killed in a highway crash Saturday.
Officials with the OPP say Brandon Melnyk, 28, of Thunder Bay, following a crash on Highway 17 near Ignace.
Police say the man’s pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer unit Saturday morning.
Melnyk was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic was rerouted for several hours as police began their investigation at the scene.
Police continue to investigate.
