THUNDER BAY — A man suffered life-threatening injuries after an altercation on the weekend at a southside Thunder Bay location.
Police say he was the victim of an assault that happened on Valhalla Inn Road early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at about 2:15 a.m., after Superior North EMS responded to a report that a male required medical attention.
The victim was suffering from critical injuries, and was rushed to hospital by paramedics.
Police identified a suspect nearby and arrested him without incident.
A 35-year-old Montreal man is charged with aggravated assault. The suspect remains in custody pending a future appearance date.
