THUNDER BAY — An area resident escaped injury but now faces charges after a motor vehicle collision in Ware Township.
Ontario Provincial Police said the single-vehicle collision occurred Tuesday afternoon on Auto Road West.
Investigating officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol.
A 38-year-old woman from Gorham Township was arrested and taken to the Thunder Bay detachment for further testing.
She was charged with impaired driving and with driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The accused was released from custody pending a court appearance next month.
