Warm temperatures close most city skating rinks; waterfront ice last one open

THUNDER BAY – The area’s first taste of spring has put an end to outdoor skating. An official announcement from the City of Thunder Bay was released Monday afternoon declaring that city-run outdoor skating rinks were officially closed.

An official announcement from the City of Thunder Bay was released Monday afternoon declaring that city-run outdoor skating rinks were officially closed.

There is one exception.

The rink at Prince Arthur’s Landing will remain open depending on weather.
