THUNDER BAY – The upcoming Canada Day holiday will result in changes to waste and recycling collection in Area 1, Area 2 and Area 3. Garbage and recycling collection will be one day earlier during the week of June 28 for residents in these Areas. Collection in Area 4 remains unchanged for Friday, July 2.
The following are the new waste collection dates:

There is no collection on Canada Day, Thursday, July 1. The landfill site on Mapleward Road will also be closed on July 1.
