THUNDER BAY — Commuters will need to alter their route and bypass a section of Red River Road on Wednesday.
The City of Thunder Bay will close all lanes in the three-block stretch between High Street and Hill Street for most of the day.
It's to allow for the completion of watermain repairs.
Sidewalk access will also be disrupted on the north side of Red River Road as the work progresses.
Motorists will be able to access Winnipeg Avenue and Summit Avenue via Beresford Street.
The closure is scheduled to take effect at 6 a.m., and will last until Wednesday evening.
