THUNDER BAY -- It's not a belated April Fools - up to 30 more centimetres of snow could hit the city on Wednesday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Thunder Bay, saying between 10 and 20 centimetres of snow is expected, with locally higher amounts of 25 to 30 centimetres being possible.
Visibility could be reduced at times during the storm, which is expected to begin on Wednesday morning and continue into Thursday.
Rain could also mix into the snow, with temperatures expected to hover near the freezing mark during the early portion of the weather system. A snowfall warning may be required as the storm nears.
