THUNDER BAY - The Monday of the Thanksgiving long weekend typically results in many businesses being closed.
Reminder to residents: there will be no garbage or recycling collection on Monday, Oct. 9. The city landfill will also be closed and reopening on Tuesday.
Places and business that are closed today include;
- City, provincial & federal offices
- The Beer Store
- LCBO
- Thunder Bay Public Library locations
- Standalone post offices (most in-store locations will be open)
- Banks (most ATM's will still be accessible)
- Intercity Shopping Centre
