The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.
The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!
Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop! Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality (clean, good condition). Culture Days is an annual national celebration that has become one of the Country's largest participatory cultural events. Each year, millions of people participate in arts and cultural events across the Country. Thunder Bay's cultural scene will be on full display with exciting interactive activities and diverse experiences that promise to spark creativity and celebrate community. Admission is free or pay-what-you-can and the event will be held at Marina Park.
Hello Neighbours! Neighbour Day is a wonderful way to bring neighbours together to build a strong and caring community. It allows the community to plan and host activities to celebrate our vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods. It also provides an opportunity for neighbours to form strong relationships and helps neighbourhoods become more welcoming, safe and inclusive places to live. Open Houses/Expos:
Head out on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., for a Public Works Open House at the City's Mountdale Yard at 410 Mountdale Ave. There will be pieces of machinery and heavy equipment on display. Ask the operator how it works, maybe even climb in and honk the horn! There will also be a bouncy castle and activities for kids. Bring a water bottle to fill at the Bottle Filling Station. The first 200 people will get a free water bottle!
Library Events:
The Thunder Bay Public Library presents: Story Time With Thunder Bay Drag Queens at the Mary J. L. Black Library (901 Edward St. S.). 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event welcomes all ages and is family friendly and free to attend (limited seating capacity). Story Time with Thunder Bay Drag Queens features local drag artists, Lady Fantasia LaPremiere & Mz. Molly Poppinz as they read stories and do activities while fostering acceptance and appreciation of diversity.

Wiggins Productions presents: THE COVER SHOW 28 Live at Black Pirates Pub (215 Red River Road)
9pm. $15 entry fee. 19+ Head downtown to Black Pirates Pub as the Thunder Bay music scene comes together to pay tribute to some of the biggest names in rock, pop, metal and punk!
