It’s Game Day at the Fort William Gardens. The Thunder Bay North Stars welcome Oliver Paipoonge’s Kam River Walleye for a two game set this weekend which has huge implications in the standings. This “battle of the top” kicks off tonight with a 7:30pm PuckDrop. Doors open at 6:30pm. STARS - FISH… TONIGHT! Tonight’s game is proudly presented by Randy Tsubouchi of ALLSTATE. Superior International Junior Hockey League  

Markets:  

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.               

Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop!  Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality (clean, good condition). The Annual Christmas Indigenous Fine Arts and Crafts Show and Sale is the largest gathering of Indigenous Artists/Artisans showcasing their AUTHENTIC ARTISTRY. This two day event is held at the CLE Heritage Building on Dec. 2 & 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. 

You are sure to find everything you need during the December Dreams exhibition! There will be the sale of fine arts, crafts and festive treats made by artists, artisans along with specialty food vendors of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario! Proceeds Support Local Charitable Organizations! 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CLE Coliseum Building 

Stop in and shop at the West Thunder Community Centre Annual Christmas Craft & Artisan Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is by Non-Perishable Food Item in support of The Salvation Army or by Cash Donation. A great variety of 40+ Vendors at this year's Market. The Canteen will be open and a surprise visit from Santa on Saturday! We hope to see you there and support all of the great Crafters and maybe pick up a Christmas gift or two! 

The Peddler's Pop Up Market at the Hub Bazaar is now open every Saturday until Spring! The Hub Bazaar is Thunder Bay's largest retail Business Incubator! Don't miss out on 6500 sq ft of Cooperation! 507 Victoria Avenue East. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Library Events:  

Story Time with Thunder Bay Drag Queens features local drag artists, Lady Fantasia LaPremiere & Mz. Molly Poppinz as they read stories and do activities while fostering acceptance and appreciation of diversity. Sponsored by Rose N Crantz Roasting Co. Mary J.L. Black Library. Entrance is free! 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
