Saturday:
A Slopestyle Competition will take place at Loch Lomond at 12:30 p.m., with pre-registration recommended. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and goes until 10:30 a.m.
Paramount Theatre will once again present Young Frankenstein this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium is hosting a Snowed In Comedy Tour at 7:30 p.m., featuring Paul Myrehaug, Pete Zedlacher, Erica Sigurdson and Dan Quinn.
The 3rd Annual Heartless Anti-Valentine’s Drag Show will begin at 10 p.m. at the Black Pirates Pub, with the doors opening at 9 p.m. The event is restricted to 19+ and requires a Valid ID. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite or the door.
Sunday:
Plan Your Day The 2025 Wedding Show will kick off at the Da Vinci Centre from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whether you’re looking for the perfect venue, the best caterer or the most talented photographer, the wedding show has it all.
Ice Races continue this weekend at Mission Bay, starting at 12 p.m.
The 2nd Annual Border Battle will start at On The Links Virtual Golf and Sports Bar at 6 p.m. Teams will play the virtual course Pebble Beach and combine scores of eight two-person teams to see who will be crowned Champion. Spectators are encouraged to visit OTL to watch the action.
Winter FunDays strikes again from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Marina Park with a game of outdoor crokicurl, skating on the rink and CAHEP building layered 3D paper animals in the Baggage Building Arts Centre. All the DAZE Productions will also present a free theatre workshop for children aged 7-11, but it will be limited to 20 participants. Visit their website for more information.
The Foundry is holding two stand-up comedy shows with Natalie Cuomo and Dan Lamorte. As presented by Autism Northwest as part of their 1st-anniversary celebration, the first show will begin at 7 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $40 and door tickets are $45. Monday:
The annual Family Day Powwow will kick off at the CLE Heritage Building from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The free event will hold Sacred Pipe Ceremonies at 10 a.m., an Indigenous Craft Fair until 6 p.m., grand entry at 1 p.m., a feast at 5 p.m. and giveaways at 7 p.m. Food will also be available for purchase throughout the day.
The CLE Heritage Building will also have a Family Day Crafter Market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
SnowDay on the Waterfront will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marina Park.
The Kam River Fighting Walleye will take on cross-town rivals in Battle of the Lakehead at the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre at 2:00 p.m. Adding to the excitement, the first 250 fans through the doors will receive free chocolate milk for Milk Up Day, courtesy of the Thunder Bay Dairy Producers. Fans will also have the chance to win prizes throughout the game, including a Chuck-a-Duck contest. For tickets and more information, visit their website.
