Saturday, Sept. 3

Markets:

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

Live Music:

Amberlite Wilderness Resort and The BUMS presents Thunder Country at the lake. This event is new to the Boreal Ultimate Music Society's Summer Line up.  Seasonal Campers please see Scott for Complimentary Tickets.  BYO, Food not available.  Please see Scott Macsemchuk at Amberlite Wilderness Resort for tenting availability. Triple Overdrive plays at 7 p.m. Back Forty plays at 9 p.m., The Scott Vanteeffelen Band plays at 10:30 p.m. and Fireworks will be held at 11:45 p.m.

Frankie "T" Band is playing at the Port Arthur Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 5 this Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. 19+ $5 at the door.

The Wayland Bar and Grill is hosting a "Back to the 90s" party starting at 10 p.m. 19+ $5 at the door.

Sunday, Sept. 4

Festivals:

The 110th Annual Hymers Fall Fair is on! This year features music and fun on both stages and a performance by the Thunder Bay Pipes and Drums starting Sunday at 11:00 am. Lots to see, entertainment to enjoy and contests to enter.

Live Music:

The Sensational Hotrods is playing at Chippewa park starting at 1 p.m. This show is free and open to all ages!
