Markets:  

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.        

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!      

The Thunder Bay Farmers’ Market is being held at the North End Rec Centre (954 Huron Ave. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Food will be served from the kitchen to eat-in or take-out. For more information, please contact tbfm@tbaytel.net 

Kick of the yard sale season by visiting your local Community Centres for our Indoor Yard Sale event on from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community Centres involved include the West Arthur Community Centre, 1914 Arthur St West, Oliver Road Community Centre, 563 Oliver Road, Current River Community Centre, 450 Dewe Street. 

Current River Community Centre is holding a Clothing Exchange Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring in gently used clothing.  Donate, find and exchange clothing! Epic Cones on site.  Weather Permitting. 

The Hymers Fair Mother's Day Market is this weekend! Both days will feature 70+ Artisans and Vendors in two rooms. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Head out and support your local Artisans/Vendors and treat yourself to something wonderful! 

Open Houses: 

The Dragons of Hope dragon boat team invites you to meet with them at their open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Urban Abbey, 308 Red River Road. Head out and learn about how paddling can help, not just with your fitness and energy but brings with it having fun and sharing in camaraderie. 

Community Improvement: 

Meet up at the Sleeping Giant Brewery for the 6th annual big spring clean, there’ll be a booth outside somewhere with warm beverages and snacks, a safety briefing and intro into 2023. From here we'll head to clean up the surrounding area. PPE provided. 

Live Music: 

Join Thunder Bay's favourite jazz band, Mood Indigo, for a free family jazz concert in celebration of #JazzDay at Goods & Co. Market, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Listen to all the old, best-loved standards and new original jazz, too! 

The Fort William Male Choir celebrates Canadiana music with a spaghetti sing-along supper. This event is unique, in that the Choir both serves the meal and entertains the audience. A family event, with music, hilarious skits and Guest participation sing-along contests. The dinner will take place at the Slovak Legion, doors open at 6 p.m. 

Frank Loffredo Crocks and Cinema 5 Skatepark are proud to present the 14+ metal show.
