The Lakehead Thunderwolves host the Guelph Gryphons in their final game at Fort William Gardens before Christmas. It is also the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss game, where fans toss stuffed animals on to the ice after the first Lakehead goal. The action starts at 7 p.m.

Hymers Fair Holiday Market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Delta Hotel. They will have over 65 artisans/vendors each day. Free admission, donations being accepted for the Shelter House
