The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.             

Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop!  Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality (clean, good condition). Head down to the Winter Craft Sale at the West Arthur Community Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entrance is free! 

The Suomi Koti of Thunder Bay: Holiday Bazaar is being held The Blue Room at 527 County Boulevard. It's an opportunity to shop and explore Visiting Vendors and to prepare for Christmas by purchasing Christmas Baking and Crafts! Visitors can sip and taste delicious coffee and Pulla for sale! 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Visit Oliver Road Community Centre for the Christmas Craft Mart on from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free Admission, Canteen is open and remember to bring your own shopping bags! 

Head down to the Thunder Bay Museum’s annual Holiday Market and Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Purchase hand-made arts and crafts from local vendors, enter to win prizes, and experience all three floors of exhibits with all proceeds going towards helping the museum continue to make history. Admission to the Holiday Market and Open House is completely free. 

Holiday Events: 

The Rotary & Rotaract Clubs of Thunder Bay are happy to partner once again with Gore Motors to host the 31st Annual Rotary Santa Claus Parade! Parade time is 10 a.m. sharp, departing from the Superstore on Harbour Expressway, traveling north along Memorial Avenue, concluding at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. 

Meet Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer! Continue the fun after the Santa Claus parade at Toy Sense in Thunder Bay! Frosty will be at Toy Sense at 447 May St N from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rudolph will be at Toy Sense on 309 Bay Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
