There’s some stuff to do this weekend in Thunder Bay!

Markets:

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe eatery and even a museum!

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

Goods & Co. is hosting a Pride Pop-up Market to invite the community out to support local LGBTQIA+ vendors from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Goods & Co. market space, 251 Red River Rd. stop by and support LGBTQIA+ vendors while buying some cool stuff.

Festivals:

The Rainbow Collective and the Thunder Pride Association invite the community to the 2022 Pride Street Fair held on Red River Road from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Celebrate Inclusion, Diversity & Fellowship in the 2SLGBTQ2S+ community while enjoying vendors, music, performers, and food!

20th year of the Ride for Dad which begins with a motorcycle parade, followed by a run in support of prostate cancer care, is being held at 555 Arthur street west from 9 a.m until 4 p.m.

Fundraisers:

A family walk/run event raising awareness and money for IYARA and the United Way Youth Programming. Run the North is happening from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Lyon Boulevard W.

Head to 124 Burriss Street from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Neighbour Day and pick up a bag of fresh popcorn with your choice of flavour sprinkle.  Donations to The Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis gratefully accepted.  With every minimum donation enter for a chance to win a lighted glass block.

Comedy:

Campfire Comedy presents an evening of R-rated, no holds barred laughter with Canadian comedy legends Darren Frost and Kenny Robinson! Show runs from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the DaVinci Centre!

Live Music:

Following the Pride Street Festival, head down for Pride After Dark, TBay's ultimate LGBTQ+ after party. Catch drag performances from all of your favourite #tbaydrag queens & kings! Then let loose on the dance floor as international DJ and homegrown smoke show, Stilla, hits the decks with some of the hottest club bangers! Show starts at 9 p.m. at Black Pirates Pub! 19+
