Markets:

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

The Peddlers Pop-up Mother’s Day Market is happening at the hub Bazaar at 507 Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe eatery and even a museum!

Theatre:

The Brand new play Smarty Pants is opening this weekend, Linda and her friends have broken into her ex-husband’s house, a man who has earned millions from a wearable tech invention – smart underwear that can control your home. This new modern comedy is about enduring relationships and the power of a good butt clench. Plays at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. buy your tickets here!

Join the Zorya Ukrainian Dance Association at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium on Saturday, May 7, for their annual year end concert. This year, "Slava Ukraini! Glory to Ukraine!" will celebrate the beauty, holidays, and events occurring throughout Ukrainian culture. Proceeds will go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, and a donation box will be available at the concert. get your tickets here!

The Sleeping Giant Folk Music Society presents: Whitehorse live at the Polish Hall. Doors open at 7pm, music starts at 8pm. Mother Mother is coming to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium this Sunday! tickets are still available for  the show featuring Vancouver indie rock band Mother Mother’s eighth full-length album Inside takes its inspiration from self-reflection, something band front-man and songwriter Ryan Guldemond was forced to do in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
