Markets:
The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them!
Fundraisers:
Thunder Bay Correctional Officers will be hosting an adopt a pet day at all three Pet Valu locations. Each location will have officers selling cupcakes and coffee as well as pets for adoption from the 3 local rescues they have teamed up with.
- At the Arthur Street Pet Valu there will be dogs from Thunder Dog Rescue.
- At the Golf Links Pet Valu there will be cats from Caring Hearts Cat Rescue.
- At the Dawson Road Pet Valu there will be dogs from Murillo Mutts Rescue.
Live Music:
Prepare to be entertained with music, hilarious skits, and sing-a-long contests at the Slovak Legion's annual Spaghetti Sing-a-long Supper. Good friends, good food, song & cheer is always a great recipe for a family fun evening.
