Markets:

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them!

Fundraisers:

Thunder Bay Correctional Officers will be hosting an adopt a pet day at all three Pet Valu locations. Each location will have officers selling cupcakes and coffee as well as pets for adoption from the 3 local rescues they have teamed up with.

  • At the Arthur Street Pet Valu there will be dogs from Thunder Dog Rescue.
  • At the Golf Links Pet Valu there will be cats from Caring Hearts Cat Rescue.
  • At the Dawson Road Pet Valu there will be dogs from Murillo Mutts Rescue. 

Live Music:

Prepare to be entertained with music, hilarious skits, and sing-a-long contests at the Slovak Legion's annual Spaghetti Sing-a-long Supper. Good friends, good food, song & cheer is always a great recipe for a family fun evening. Tickets are $40 for Adults and $25 for youth and are available by calling 807-767-3612 or email requests to: tickets@fwmc.ca. The show starts at 6 p.m.

Our Tyme Plays the Club Room at the Port Arthur Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 5 starting at 8 p.m. Head out to see and hear them play a set full of country, folk, pop, and original music! $5 at the door.  COVID rules apply. 19+

Steven Ngo, best known as Haus of Panda, hit the electronic dance music scene in 2017. Soon after, New York record label, Brooklyn Fire, signed Ngo’s single, “Rewind Selecta,” a dance floor banger that blurs the line between UK Speed Garage and Bass House, creating a sub-genre Ngo calls “Speed House.” come out and hear him at Atmos this weekend! Black Pirate's Pub is going to funky town with the Thirsty Monks and Phineas Gauge! Two rocking sets from each band for a full night of awesome! $10 at the door, 19+, doors open at 9 p.m. Show starts at 10 p.m.

The Foundry presents: Island Breeze ft. DJ Big D! As always DJ Big D will be spinning the hottest tunes from Caribbean. Soca, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Club mashups. Vibes start at 10 p.m. $10 at the door. 19+ Photo ID required.

Back Forty's playing at the Wayland Bar & Grill now with "40% better vocal harmonies"! Top 40 country songs all night long! 19+ Show starts at 10 p.m. $5 at the door.

NV Music Hall is holding an Avicii tribute night ft. DJ Mo! 19+ $10 at the door. Free cover for ladies all night long! 10 p.m.

Markets:

Hymers Fair Spring Local Artisan Market will have over 50 vendors coming out including  NH Designs Handmade, Essentially Debbie, Valley Wood Design, White Pine Designs, Barkuterietbay, For Goodness Cake, Misty Creek Homestead, Sugar & Scrub, and Visions with Vicky. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CLE Heritage building!

Workshops:

Find out how makeup is used in the drag transformation process as #tbaydrag favourites, Amber Ail, Mz. Molly Poppinz and Ivan Love paint from start to finish. They'll be answering your questions and giving out all kinds of makeup tips & tricks along the way. Join them at 6 p.m. on Facebook Live @wigginsproductions

Live Music:

After two long years, The Midnight Echo is finally out on the road taking their "Whatever Happens, Happens Tour" across Canada... and they're stopping at Red Lion Smokehouse. Head out to see The Midnight Echo take the stage and feature their new single "View of an Astronaut" All Ages! price TBA!
