THUNDER BAY — After a successful event this past June, Goods & Co. Market will host another roller skating/blading event in October.
This Halloween edition event will take place on Oct. 19, starting at 6 p.m. All ages are welcome to skate from 6 to 8 p.m., and from 8 to 10 p.m., it will be 19+.
Tickets are $20 per person, and you must bring your own skates.
Kayla Wallace, sales and events manager at Goods & Co. Market said over 200 guests of all ages attended the first event.
“It was nothing but incredible feedback. Thunder Bay has been longing for the return of Wheelies and we are so happy to play a role in the return of roller skating.”
Wallace said the team is expecting to see between 150 and 200 people in total for the next event and are hoping to host the Wheelies events seasonally.
A waiver will have to be signed at the event to participate. Helmets, knee pads and other protective gear are encouraged.
The best Halloween costume will win a prize.
