THUNDER BAY – Winners and Home Sense will celebrate the grand opening of their new 42,000 square-foot super store location in the Thunder Centre in two weeks.
To commemorate the March 20 grand opening celebration they will present $5,000 to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
“We are very excited about the grand opening of our new superstore in Thunder Bay,” said HomeSense spokeswoman Tamara Robbins Griffith, in a release issued on Tuesday.
“The HomeSense and Winners superstore will provide our customers who live and work in the area with the convenience, value, quality and brand name selection that HomeSense and Winners are known for. With new items arriving in-store daily, the store will offer shoppers an exciting destination with irresistible finds at exceptional prices.”
Winners and HomeSense are owned by The TJX Companies, which operates 264 Winners locations in Canada, as well as 117 HomeSense outlets and 64 Marshall’s stores.
Marshall’s will be taking over Homesense’s previous space at Intercity Shopping Centre.
