Wolves Basketball Club launches new youth league

Registration for the 3x3 league is now open and is for girls in Grades 6-8.

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Wolves Basketball Club is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new 3x3 basketball league for girls in Grades 6-8.

This initiative is aimed at promoting the growth of girls' basketball in the community, providing young athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced and fun environment.

The 3x3 format, known for its quick tempo and emphasis on teamwork, will offer participants the chance to enhance their basketball abilities while fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Games will be held weekly, and the league will feature trained coaches and referees to ensure a positive experience for all.

“This is an exciting time for girls' basketball in Thunder Bay,” said Lindsey Wachter, President of the Thunder Bay Wolves.

“We are thrilled to provide this opportunity for young players to grow and excel in the game, while making new friends and having fun.”
