THUNDER BAY – A day of wet weather has pushed back three WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup qualifier games that were scheduled for Friday, including a matchup between Canada and Korea.

The matches will be rescheduled for Sunday at the following times, organizers announced:

  • Australia v. Hong Kong China (11:30)
  • Mexico v. USA (3:30)
  • Korea v. Canada (7:30)

The games will be played at Port Arthur Stadium.

On Sunday, Canada’s team will look to recover after falling 23-0 to the U.S. on Thursday, its first loss of the tournament.
