KENORA, Ont. – Provincial police have located a female who escaped from a youth custody facility in Kenora.
Ontario Provincial Police officers were notified around 1 p.m. of a female that escaped a youth custody facility in the north side of Kenora on Thursday.
OPP were advised that the youth had left the facility and fled by foot.
According to a release, police located the female Wednesday around 9 a.m. at a residence on the south side of the city.
The youth has been charged with escape lawful custody under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
She is scheduled to appear in Kenora on Aug. 23.
