Sudbury’s Robbie Gordon scored three points in the eighth end Saturday night in Nipigon, eliminating Thunder Bay skip Bryan Burgess and his foursome from contention at the Northern Ontario men’s curling championship.

The 7-4 win sets up an early morning date with three-time defending champion Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie in Sunday’s final.

Jacobs finished round robin play at 8-0, earning an automatic berth in the championship game.
