Curling Canada plans major curling announcement on Tuesday

Curling Canada has called a news conference to announce major curling event.

THUNDER BAY — The city could learn on Tuesday if Thunder Bay has been chosen to host the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

 

Curling Canada has called a news conference for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fort William Curling Club to announce a major curling event.

 

The city has been chasing the event for about a year and has guaranteed $400,000 to host the Canadian national women’s championship.
