THUNDER BAY – The North American Prospects Hockey League has announced that Thunder Bay major midget Kings forward Jacob Brown has been selected to participate in the third annual NAPHL under-18 all-star game on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 in Troy, Mich.

The 16-year-old Thunder Bay product was named to the Team Easton roster for the U-18 all-star contest, which will be part of the NAPHL’s fifth and final regular season event of the season and features all 38 NAPHL teams playing five regular season games from January 7-10 at the Troy Sports Center.

Brown currently leads the Kings in NAPHL scoring with 17 points in 20 games, including a team-high 11 goals.

His tally total also ties him for eighth overall among all NAPHL U-18 skaters.

Final roster decisions were based on a combination of the current NAPHL U-18 standings, along with NAHL Central Scouting staff input based on nominations by coaches and scouting evaluations throughout the first three events.

Players that were considered for the 18U All-Star Game selection process had to have been nominated by each of the NAPHL U-18 head coaches in the league.
