THUNDER BAY -- The Neebing Atom AA Hawks competed in the Atom AA Thistles Challenge Cup in Kenora over the weekend of Nov. 15-17 at the Kenora Recreation Centre.
The team went undefeated in the tournament playing the Fort Frances Canadiens (7-1), Brady Nash game MVP, Dryden Paper Kings (2-1), Cooper Disher game MVP and Red Lake Rockets (10-2), Luukas Moffat game MVP in round robin play.
The semi final game saw the boys play the Kenora Thistles (8-1), Caden McLeod game MVP and finally the Dryden Paper Kings in the championship game with a score of 5-3, shots on goal in this game were 32-28 for the Hawks.
