Pineau, Atwill taken in OHL draft

Both players suited up with the Under 16 Kings team this past season.

THUNDER BAY - A pair of Thunder Bay Kings minor midget Kings players heard their names called at Saturday's Ontario Hockey League draft. 

Defenceman Alex Pineau was taken in the eighth round, 157th overall, by the Sudbury Wolves. Teammate Alex Atwill, a forward, was grabbed five picks later by the London Knights. 

Pineau had four goals and seven assists in 24 games with the Kings, while Atwill, a 5-foot-7 left-winger, had six goals and 20 points in 24 appearances.
