It is with profound sadness and deep heartbreak that we announce the unexpected passing of Allison Seuret, who passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the young age of 55.

Allison was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on August 22, 1969, and was the youngest daughter of Janet Inkster, and the late Antoine Seuret.

Allison attended Prospect Public School and Hillcrest Highschool and went on to study and eventually worked as a Veterinarian’s Technician. She developed an affinity and selfless love for all animals and cultivated a rewarding career in animal health. She naturally began fostering and adopting many treasured pets throughout her life. She was a very kind, sweet, loving, compassionate and caring young woman, who always put others before herself. When Allison became a mother, to her three beautiful children, Anthony, Fox and Talia, she truthfully considered it to be one of the best jobs she could ever have in the world. She never complained and always found a way to either make you smile, or make you laugh with her distinct sense of subtle humour. She loved fashion trends and collected retro/chic vintage clothing and had an artistic style and flair that was her very own unique signature.

Allison touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met over the course of her life, most especially her best friend and soulmate, Jim Scali, who she loved and adored. Together, they were blessed to build over 22 years of treasured memories in their life together. They were deeply dedicated to each other and were inseparable. More recently, she relished spending time in the comfort and company of her two faithful baby pugs, Casper & Boo, who will miss her greatly.

Allison is survived by her loving, loyal, and devoted companion, Dr. Jim Scali. She is also survived by her mother, Janet Inkster, along with Allison’s three children: Anthony (Karli), Fox (Rebeka), and Talia Andricciola-Seuret and the children’s father Tony Andricciola. Also surviving are her aunt Eleanor Nielson (Charles); uncle Douglas Inkster (Lynda); aunt Elizabeth Inkster (pre-deceased) (Keith); aunt Rita Seeley (Terry). She is also survived by many cousins.

She is also survived by and will be deeply missed by Jim’s parents, Carmela & Salvatore Scali; along with Jim’s sister & brother-in-law: Josie & Tony Riccio; and Jim’s Nieces/Nephews: Vincent & Vanessa Riccio, along with their children Olivia & Matteo Riccio. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins of Jim’s family.

She was predeceased by her sister Jennifer Seuret (2002), her father Antoine Seuret (2015), grandmother Margaret Inkster (2010), grandfather Murray Inkster (1984), grandmother Elizabeth Seuret, and grandfather Germain Seuret.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, when family and friends will gather in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church (at 123 Hilldale Rd.). The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be livestreamed at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA1ZdnJ7MMo.  Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:30 am. Cremation has taken place, and final interment will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery, with the immediate family only.
