Ms. Audrey Patricia Hryhoruk a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at home on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Audrey was born in Fort William and was a lifetime resident of Thunder Bay. She was the daughter of the late Paul Hryhoruk who predeceased her in July 1967 and the late Anne Hyrhoruk (Chovancak) who predeceased her in February 2009.
Audrey worked at McKeller General Hospital in Clerical Departments for 30 years and retired in October 1996.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening and loved travelling with her mother Anne. Audrey was always willing to lend a hand when needed and was a very caring individual. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Audrey is survived by numerous cousins in Thunder Bay and Stoney Creek Ontario. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G.. Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Care Group Foundation.
Audrey Hryhoruk will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
