It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son Austin Edward Peter Simmons on November 22, 2024.
After graduation, Austin pursued his Red Seal in Welding while working for James Nichols Trucking LTD. He later worked in the mining industry, and then the road construction industry.
Austin enjoyed life to its fullest while driving his many motorized toys. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and exploring any bush road he came across. Austin was the life of the party. He would always have a smile on his face and could make anyone laugh. He would always have a joke to brighten your day.
Austin was predeceased by his brother Michael Belisle and grandparents Esther Harrison, Frances Moron Simmons, and Sherman Victor Simmons.
Austin is survived by his mother Stephanie Zappacosta, his father Edward Simmons, his common-law partner Alyssa Fowler; his siblings Christopher Belisle (Alexa Kuchiak), Bianca and Braeden Plemel; his grandparents - Peter Harrison, Bruce and Priscilla Atkinson; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives
Celebration of Life to be held at the Lake Helen Resource Centre in Nipigon, Ontario on December 9th from 1pm - 4 pm.
