We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother. Barbara was born and raised in Niagara Falls Ontario, coming to the Lakehead area in 1956 where she met and married her husband James. They moved to Port Arthur where they raised their five sons. Barbara was employed at the Prince Arthur Hotel and the City of Thunder Bay Telephone, retiring in 1999.
She is survived by her sons Kevin (Janice), Ron (Debby), James (Lynne), grandchildren Chelsey (Josh), Reba (Travis), Chloe (John), Kayla, Alex, Nolan, and Leah, and her eight great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her partner Bill, and relatives in Southern Ontario.
Barbara was predeceased by her father and mother, two brothers, one sister, husband James, sons Keith and Thomas.

As per mom’s wishes there will be no funeral. Private interment to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Research Fund.
