Barbara Lynn Berst

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Barbara Lynn Berst announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Sunday September 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.
 
Barbara was born April 22, 1944, to John and Gladys Ridley. She met the love of her life Albert and were married November 18, 1961. They shared 61 wonderful years together and 3 beautiful children.
 
Barbara had a great love for her dogs, she was well respected in the purebred dog community. She enjoyed going to their camp at Shebandowan every summer and extremely enjoyed their winters in Florida with family and many good friends.
 
Survived by her loving and devoted husband Albert, children Kathleen (Mick), Kerry (Angie), and Tanice. Grandchildren Angie (Roy), Jacqueline (Craig), Ashley (Keegan), Brittany (Gordon) and Megan (Alex). Great grandchildren Wolfe, Skyler, Draeven, Troy, Ronfln, Curtis, Hailey and Luke, along with her brothers Brian (Diane), Doug (Wendy) and many beautiful nieces and nephews.
 
We would like to thank all the staff of 2B of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their amazing support.
