With heartache, we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Bailot on March 14, 2025. Bonnie grew up in Fort William with her dad Percy, mom Jean, grandpa William, and siblings Connie, Patrick, Merie, Tracy, and Judy (Rod), running the roads of Westfort, giving her stories to share for years to come with her kids and grandkids. She has amazing cousins and friends with whom she has a strong bond with. Bonnie proudly raised her daughters, Jeanna Harju (Mark) and Mandy Childs (Jason). We had adventures that created unbreakable bonds.

Bonnie met her soulmate, Noris Bailot, on August 19, 1988, and married on August 19, 1989. They have been inseparable ever since, making memories at family barbecues, water fights, Friday night movies, grabbing ice cream, walking to the flower park, baking with the grandkids, and teaching them her recipes. Mom enjoyed camping and fishing, and her love and passion for gardening shone brightly. There were many late nights of giggles telling stories and looking at pictures when Jeanna and Judy came to town. WE ALL KNOW HER PETS CAME FIRST.

Bonnie worked for years as a dedicated daycare provider with many children coming through her home, looking after them like they were her own. We all remember our wife, mom, nanny, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend as the strongest, bravest woman in the world. She fought a battle most people would have given up. We love you always.

We cannot thank Dr. Simpson enough for everything she did for Mom at 4 North Hospice Unit; she showed us compassion and our mom the dignity she deserved.

A celebration of life will be held at the Davinci Centre from 6-8 PM Thursday, March 20th, 2025. Donations to St Joseph's Care Group Hospice unit.
