Brian died peacefully at the Oakville Hospital after a five year battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughters Lisa (Terry Shannon), Jennifer (David Rea), grandchildren Melissa, Kyle, Meghan, Matthew, and his sister Judith (Hadden), numerous nephews and nieces.

He had his Chiropractic practice for twenty five years on Victoria Avenue. He was a member of St. Michael and all Angels Anglican Church, Nor West Gyro Club, Loch Lomond, Candy Mountain and KamView Ski Clubs. An active member of the Thunder Bay district health council, Con College Fitness Center. Brian started the 10km run for chiropractic education, was a member of the health team when Thunder Bay hosted the Canada Summer Games, being responsible for the rugby players from across Canada (who required chiropractic care). He left Thunder Bay in 1990 to take a more active role on the executive of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College becoming chairman of the board. He started another successful practice in Stouffville until retiring to Muskoka. He returned to Thunder Bay to do locums every other month for two years, being thrilled to be back in Thunder Bay where he was able to reconnect with friends, colleagues, and many old patients.
