Mr. Carmelino Vacca, age 82 years, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2021 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Carmelino was born on February 27, 1939 in Castelpetroso, Italy to Mario and Giuseppina Vacca. As a young man, he served in the Italian Army. He immigrated to Thunder Bay in 1969.

Working for P & G Construction and Form & Pour Construction, he worked on numerous houses and buildings in the city and helped family and friends with all their construction needs.

Carmelino will be sadly missed by loving wife Maria, children Mario Vacca, Josie Savoie, Aldo Vacca and Lisa (Ronnie) Maertens. His two pride and joys were his beautiful granddaughters Cassidy Savoie and Gabriella Maertens.
