It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Catherine Louise Tebbenham on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Catherine is predeceased by her parents, George and Bridie Stott, in-laws Bill and Doris Tebbenham, her sister Janet Stott, and brothers-in-law Brent “Doc” Sutton, Pat Greer and Jamie Ranta.
She is survived by many loving family members, including her husband Bill, sons Troy (Tracey), Tyler (Janie), and grandchildren Ben, Graham, Kaitlyn (Taylor), Ava, and Emily, sisters Margie (Darcy) Legros, Barbara (Harry) Fediuk, Paula Greer, Laura Ranta, sister-in- law Percy Sutton, and many nieces and nephews.
Born November 20, 1946, and raised in Port Arthur, Cathy graduated in 1968 from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. She enjoyed her work on Two North, and it was there that she met many of her lifelong friends, “The Motley Crew”.
Cathy enjoyed many different activities through the years, including curling with Bill, ceramics, macrame, and volunteering with several local organizations including the Corpus Cristi CWL. Traveling with Bill and friends took her far and wide to places such as Florida, Las Vegas, California and Alaska.
Above all, what meant most to Cathy was time spent with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone who spent time with her or came to know her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Corpus Christi R. C. Church (664 Red River Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7B1H8).
