Catherine Sharp

Catherine Anne Sharp, born February 4, 1953, passed away peacefully in hospital June 10, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her daughter Anne (Justin), her siblings Julie Savas, Shelley Petrone, Lionel, Robert and Michael Sharp, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Blair McMaster and Jean Agnes Sharp, and brother Mark. Catherine was born and educated in Thunder Bay and enjoyed a lifelong career in bookkeeping. She was a creative soul who had many DIY hobbies, including sewing and furniture making. She also loved gardening, reading, and caring for many adopted and rescued pets.
 
Thank you to Dr. Marchuk and staff at TBRHSC, and to Dr. El Sharif, Dr. Feldstein, and the nursing staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, 3S, 4S and 4N. A special thank you to Stephanie for being there on her last day. Your kind and compassionate care will always be remembered.
 
Interment will be private. Donations to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcome in her memory.
 
We're all just walking each other home.
