Mrs. Celina Rubenick, age 69 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at Hogarth Riverview Manor with family by her side on December 8, 2024. Born on March 31, 1955 in Port Arthur, Celina loved her career working as an SSP for the Catholic School Board. In her free time she enjoyed woodworking and summers out at camp.
Celina is survived by her husband Stephen Rubenick, her daughters, Mary and Pamela (Chris); siblings Josephine Cosgrave (Terry – predeceased) and Peter Rzeszut (Mary Ann – predeceased). Also predeceased by her parents Victoria and Stanley Rzeszut. She was loved by many relatives, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including her closest friend Cathy Costanzo.
A special thank you to the 6th floor staff at Hogarth for the care and comfort they provided Celina.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced in the new year.
