Mrs. Claire Aline Fecteau (nee Fillion), just 8 days before her 86th birthday, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

Claire was a longtime member of the Church of the Annunciation and the Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed hunting with her husband and grandson as well as sewing and knitting. Claire was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. The special memories made with her will live on in our hearts forever.

Claire will be deeply missed by her children, Lynda (Michel, deceased) Brousseau, Carole Fecteau (Don Yuill), Marie (Andre, deceased) Busque, and Aline Fecteau; grandchildren Miguel (Nancy) Brousseau, Joelle Brousseau, Nathan Simmons, Samantha (Josh) Toddish, Marco (Gillian) Lalande, Brent Lalande and; great-grandchildren Hailey, Jenna, Ella, Tyler, Emerson, Abigail, Xander, Julia, Sophia, Kaleb, Savannah and Madeline.

She was predeceased by her husband Clermont Fecteau in 1987; her parents Marie and Joseph Fillion, her son-in Laws, Michel Brousseau and Andre Busque, all her siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service, of family and close friends, for Claire will be held on July 20th at 10:30am at the Nipigon - Cliffside Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.

Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Claire to The Canadian Cancer Society or, the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
