It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announce the passing of Cory from a heart attack at the age of 51. Cory was born April 24, 1970 in Fort William.

Cory was a happy go lucky guy. He loved truck driving, which is why he purchased a gravel truck and named it after his two beautiful daughters, “K&H Trucking”. Cory worked many years until his health started to decline and he was no longer able to do that kind of work. He never gave up. He worked for different companies, one being for his good friend Ryan Vale, who Cory loved and respected. Ryan was aware of Cory’s situation and took Cory under his wing, giving Cory as much work as he was able to do.

Cory loved camping, quadding, and doing the things that guys do. In the last 12 years as the result of his kidney disease, Cory’s health declined and he was no longer able to do many of the things that he enjoyed, but that didn’t take away his positive outlook and ready smile.

Cory will be lovingly remembered and missed by his mother and step father, Pauline and Aldo Bisignano, his sister Judyann Belanger (Lennie), his two beautiful daughters, who he loved unconditionally and was very proud of, Keana (James) and Hailey, and their mother Carrie, his step brothers Mike and Billy Ward and their mother Janice and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cory was predeceased by his father, William Ward, his grandparents, Ann and George Wanzuk, Martha Ward and Wilfred Louis, his mother in law Diane Ibey and his special cousin Jason Biley.

Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Cory’s memory to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation – Renal Unit https://www.healthsciencesfoundation.ca/
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
