It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Lynn Gordon on March 13, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, with her loving and protective brothers Richard and Trevor, mother Jackie and cousin Kelly Magee-Adams by her side. Cynthia was born in Thunder Bay on June 26, 1976. She came into this world with heart issues and her little heart couldn't keep her going anymore.

Cynthia was a very special person. She brought joy, happiness, compassion, love and hugs to everyone she met. She had many friends that loved and watched out for her in May Manor, Lakeland, Florida. She loved spending her winters there. As she used to say, "I have a lot of fun here". She participated in pretty much every activity and her favourite was karaoke.

Recently Cynthia brought all that love to Bayview Towers. Again, she participated in pretty much every event our Oasis program had. She quickly made her way into everyone's heart here and will be missed by all her Bayview friends.

She fostered a great love for hockey at an early age by watching her dad play, then her brothers. From there it progressed to several local amateur teams. She had a special connection with the inaugural LU Thunderwolves hockey team, and she maintained a friendship with Murray Magill and Jeff Richards. She attended several Tampa Bay Lightning games while wintering with her parents in Florida. Recently that love of hockey brought her to watch the next generation of players, Nash, Brett and Maddy. She also had a love for the Blue Jays. She enjoyed 5 pin bowling, which started in high school and then progressed to joining the Special Olympics bowling league for many years. She made some long lasting friendships at the bowling alley.

Cynthia cross stitched many crib quilts and bibs for family and friends as gifts for their new arrivals. Each item was made with love and perfection. They became cherished treasures for those families.

Cynthia is survived by and will be missed by her mom Jackie; brothers Richard and Trevor; nephews Kaye and Sebastian; Special friend Peggy Shippam, Great Aunt Margaret Magee, Uncle Leonard and Aunt Darlene Cyr, Aunt Lori Cyr and Uncle Glenn McIvor, Aunt Carole and Uncle Les McLean, Aunt Val and Uncle Gord Earl, Aunt Arlene Boracheff, Aunt Lynn Gordon, Aunt Diane Brown Cyr and many cousins. Cynthia was predeceased by her father Rick, grandparents Raoul & Mildred Cyr; Richard and Elsie Gordon; Uncle Jim Cyr, and Uncle Jordie Boracheff.

We'd like to to thank the paramedics, ER staff, ICU staff, Unit 2A staff that took such great care of Cynthia. Special thanks to Dr. Roberto for his compassion and respect when talking with Cynthia. The last few days of Cynthia's life were very difficult, but made bearable with the love, guidance, wisdom and caring for her and us from Kelly, she was our rock. Thank you Lynn for being there for me; anytime and anything I needed, you didn't hesitate.

Cynthia made the world a better place.

Rest in peace beautiful girl.

Jackie, Richard and Trevor
