We are profoundly heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Dale Siciliano on January 29, 2021 at the age of 64 with his loving family by his side. Dale was born and raised in Fort William on September 26, 1956 to John and Joan Siciliano.

Dale was a natural entrepreneur and owned many businesses throughout his career. From Thunder Bay Refinishers to several auto body repair shops; even taking a turn at driving a cement truck. He was a large part of the racing community at Riverview Raceway, driving car #100. His passion for cars expanded and he built and modified many collector cars over the years. The pinnacle of his career was when he started Dales Auto Sales. His exceptional knowledge of automobiles and strong connections in the community enabled him to achieve success for many years. So much so, that his decision to retire on February 1, 2021 and spend his days at his Dog Lake camp, did not come easy.

Dale had a big heart and was always willing to help others with any vehicle-related issues. His quick sense allowed him to diagnose an issue within minutes of taking “the car for a ride”.

In 1996, Dale met his best friend and soulmate Toni Pucci, and they began a beautiful life together raising two children, Daniel and Julia. His passion for anything with a motor extended to his home. There you could find Dale working on one of his many collector cars in his 5-car garage. Dale loved to travel; whether he was driving his motorhome to destinations throughout North America or flying to tropical destinations in the cold winter months.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Toni, his children Daniel, Julia and Micheal Hanna (Tamara), grandchildren Preston, Brayden, Devin; brothers Roger, Gary (Gaye), sister-in-law Eva Pucci (Dino Sacchetti), Dina Yeo (Gord) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale was predeceased by his parents John and Joan, brothers John and Trevor and in-laws, Ida and Vittorio Pucci.

The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care Dale received in ICU at TBRHSC.

A private family service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 with Rev. Luigi Filippini officiating.
