Daniel F. Oliver-Campos (age 14), born on May 2, 2009, unexpectedly passed on September 25, 2023 at the Victoria Children’s Hospital in London, ON. Growing up in Thunder Bay, Daniel attended Pope Jean Paul, St. Martin’s, Agnew H. Johnson, and Hyde Park schools. Daniel was known by his friends and family as a caring, ambitious, and smart young man with a zest for life.
Daniel was active in school sports and extra curricular activities such as softball in Murillo and bagpipes. As a member of the Pipes and Drums of Thunder Bay, Daniel earned his pipes at the young age of 12, debuting with the band in the Fall of 2022. He was always surrounded by people who cared for him and helped him become the amazing young man he turned out to be.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Lindsey and stepfather, Shayne, sisters Ashley and Alexandra, grandparents; Marlene and Andrew & Janet and Damon, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Life will be held on October 22, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Oliver Road Community Centre in Thunder Bay. All who knew him are welcome to come celebrate the life of this beautiful soul taken too soon.
