It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Robert Vincent Hussman, age 39 years on February 24, 2023 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Darrell was born in April 30, 1983 to Anna Pierno and Darrell Hussman is Regina, Sk. Darrell spent his childhood and teen years growing up in Saskatoon. He had a goofiness to him, he was very free spirited and didn’t take a lot serious. He was wild and adventurous.
He went to elementary school at Father Vachon and High School, well what high school didn’t he attend. He had a love for people, meeting people and being around people and that’s how he got one of his nicknames “Travelling Max”. He eventually managed to travel to many cities in Canada and had no problem with surviving with sometimes just a backpack.
His wandering spirit led him to B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and lastly Ontario. Darrell had a love for music and was always listening to it, it seemed. He had a love for cooking and was so good at it. He had worked many jobs that included cooking and preparing foods.
Darrell loved his family dearly and he leaves behind a bright smile and the ability to make anyone smile even during hard times. He had many nicknames such as Junior, Travelling Max, D-Block but to his parents he was their beloved Darrell.
Darrell has taken a piece of many hearts when he passed. He is survived by his mother Anna (Owen), father Darrell, His partner, Katherine Kakekakishkung and her children Keenan, Nodin, Naneek, Elianna. His siblings Angelina (Trevor), Bianca (Brian), Nigal, Seku and Jodi., his aunt Julia, Aunt Monica (Dave), Uncle Franco. His nieces and nephews who he loved dearly Warren, Murray, Vienna, Brixton, Vida, Lola, Samaya, Luna, Ella, Shaun and Lily. His stepfather Giles and God mother Kandis .He is loved dearly and remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his grandfather Larry Hussman, grandmother Della Hussman, Uncle Lyle, his Nonna Carmina Pierno, Nonno Vincenzo Pierno, great grandmother Anne, uncles Gary, David, Sal, Vonto, aunt Linda and cousins Natalie, Porter and Kamara. Darrell is also reunited with his best friend Robin.
Viewing and service for Darrell will take place in Thunder Bay, Ontario at Sargent and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EST 1:00 p.m. in Saskatchewan.
